Steve Harriott to Stay at TDS

Steve Harriott is to remain as Chief Executive of the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and Nick Hankey, the Director of Resources, becomes Deputy Chief Executive and takes a place on the SafeDeposits Scotland Board.

Announcing his decision to remain as CEO, Steve Harriott said, “Following a period of reflection and discussions with the Chairman, I believe I can be of most use delivering cost effective deposit protection services to our members in England and Wales, whilst building on the success of SafeDeposits Scotland to extend our expertise elsewhere.”

These moves have been welcomed by TDS Chairman Martin Partington. “The last two years have seen an astonishing change in fortunes for TDS and its customers and we are therefore delighted that Steve is to continue in his role as Chief Executive. There are great opportunities and challenges ahead and Steve has already proved he can rise to such challenges. We look forward to a bright future under his leadership.”
